How Grumle works
(in plain terms)
1. You start privately
Most people begin by reading, reflecting, or writing privately.
You don’t have to post.
You don’t have to share.
Nothing is public by default.
2. You choose what helps
There is no fixed path.
You can use:
- short daily nudges
- simple check-ins
- breathing or mindfulness
- learning tools like CBT basics
- understanding how habits and the brain work
- human support, AI support, or both
All optional.
All opt-in.
3. You move at your pace
Everything on Grumle is designed in small steps.
You can:
- pause
- change direction
- take breaks
- come back later
One day. One step. One honest decision at a time.
4. You share only if and when you’re ready
If you choose to share, you decide who sees it:
- Private (just you)
- Members (human-verified)
- Public (anyone)
Staying private is always acceptable.
5. Safety is built in
Two access levels and calm moderation protect the space.
Grumle is designed to stay:
- human
- supportive
- non-competitive
- free from pile-ons or pressure
Safety matters more than speed.
What this is not
Grumle is:
- not social media
- not therapy or medical care
- not a course you must complete
- not competitive
If you need support beyond what a peer platform can offer, see ‘When You Need More Support’.
You can move quietly.
You can take your time.
